Service Loop Ops is a two-person firm in Leland, North Carolina. We build custom software for service businesses. That's the whole company and the whole scope.
Co-founder
Mechanical engineer. Background in power generation, including nuclear operations, where the whole job was building systems that could not be allowed to fail quietly.
Jordan also runs a short-term rental business on the North Carolina coast and a real estate investment company, which means most of what Service Loop Ops builds got built first for his own operations before it got built for anyone else's.
Co-founder
Electrical engineer. Spends his time on the build side: the systems, the integrations, and the parts that have to keep running in the field after everyone has gone home.
Steve does the same thing Jordan does, from the other end. Between the two of them, every line of what we ship was written by one of the two people you talk to on the call.
That limits how fast we grow, which is fine. We're building systems that have to keep running in shops we'll still be answering the phone for in three years.
It also means we say no more than we say yes. If your office is already running well, or what you actually need is marketing, we'll tell you that on the first call instead of selling you a build you don't need.
You'll talk to one of the two people who would do the work. There is no account manager here.
